ABOUT US
The Fois olive farm was founded in 1890 in the countryside surrounding Alghero, in the north-west of Sardinia, an ideal environment for olive growing thanks to its temperate climate mitigated by the proximity of the sea.

Dedication and passion
Today, the farm is passionately managed by the Fois family, who oversee every processing phase, from olive cultivation to the extraction of high-quality extra virgin olive oil.
The olive farm currently spans an area of approximately 300 hectares of olive groves, housing around more than 30,000 olive trees, primarily of the Bosana cultivar. These have been complemented by other native and national cultivars to enhance and enrich the organoleptic and qualitative attributes of the oil range.
Accademia Olearia
The production and marketing of the oils are carried out by the Accademia Olearia company, owned by the Fois family, in a modern plant of over 4,000 square meters. The facility employs some of the most modern and innovative extraction methods to ensure high-quality products while preserving the integrity of the raw materials.
The processing plant was constructed with special attention to environmental preservation, utilizing alternative energy sources such as solar panels for electricity and the olive (pit) processing waste to produce hot water for heating.
Currently, Accademia Olearia is the leading producer of certified “Sardinia DOP” Extra Virgin Olive Oil on the island, a distinctive mark of Sardinian excellence.
